Dr. Meier grew up in the San Fernando Valley, attended Taft High School and then went on to UCLA where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychobiology in 1984.  He then attended the highly ranked UCLA Dental School and graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1988.  After completing a brief Oral Surgery Rotation at UCLA Harbor Hospital, Dr. Meier worked for a few well-respected dentists then came to Ventura and has been operating there since 1992.

Dr. Meier is a member of many professional organizations including the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry. He recently jointed Dentists Who Care, an organization that provides free dental care worldwide for the under-served.   He manages to attend over 50 hours yearly of ongoing education in various areas of dentistry including esthetic dentistry, implant dentistry and orthodontics just to name a few.  Dr. Meier has supplied several general dental articles for the Ventura County Star over the years.

Dr. Meier lives locally with his wife and three college-aged children.  They are truly the joys of his life and his dedication.  His hobbies include participating in various sports (especially tennis and physical fitness), extensive reading and occasional wine tasting!  Dr. Meier is a trustee for the Ventura Chamber of Commerce.  He also loves to follow the UCLA Bruin sports teams, good or bad.

Dr. Meier and I met in our freshman year at UCLA, got married,  and have been together ever since.

While Greg went to Dental School, I worked for Farmer’s Insurance working my way up from claims representative to claims manager.  I then took time off to raise our three children and re-entered the work force in 2008 as Hillview Dental Care’s office manager.

Good health is important to everyone and I feel honored when patients trust us with their family’s health.

When I am not in the office, you will find me reading, playing tennis or watching the latest horror film

After graduating from Hygiene School in 2009, I have worked in many offices and am passionate that my patients receive excellent oral care so they can keep their teeth for life.   I am sensitive and caring while ensuring the job is done properly.

I received my RDA license from Bryman’s Dental assisting school and have been working with Dr. Meier as his assistant for about 18 years. It is my pleasure to take care of our patients and their families as they grow and mature.  Dentistry continues to change and helps us keep our patients healthy and pain-free. I have been a life-long Ventura county resident and live with my husband and three kids in Ventura.  I enjoy shopping and spoiling my yorkies.
